Academic Regalia

Traditional caps and gowns are recommended.

If you plan to participate in a Pullman Fall ceremony, it is important that you stop by the Grad Fair at the Alumni Center between 9 AM to 5 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2009 . The Grad Fair is an opportunity for all potential graduates to check degree applications, register to walk in the Pullman Fall commencement ceremony, pick up a cap and gown, order announcements,  purchase a class ring or diploma frame, register with the Alumni Association and visit with other WSU offices such as; Financial Aid, Career Services, and International Programs.  If you are unable to attend the Grad Fair you may reserve a cap and gown by visiting the Supply Department at the Bookie  beginning Friday, October 23.  Contact Nick at (509) 332-2537 ext. 193 or supplies@mail.wsu.edu with any questions. 

All cap and gown orders recieved by the Bookie will be sent to the commencement coordinator for automatic registration in the pullman ceremony.

Friday, October 23, the Bookie starts accepting phone and email orders for caps and gowns from DDP and urban campus students wishing to participate in the Pullman campus ceremony.  Visit the bookstore nearest you or contact the Pullman Bookie directly at  800-937-4978 ext 193 or email supplies@mail.wsu.edu to place an order.  

Wednesday, November 25, 2009 is the last day to order a cap and gown, any orders received after this date will be assessed a late fee of $20.  Previously ordered regalia will be available for pick-up through Saturday, December 12, 2009.

The grad fair for Spring 2010 will be held Wednesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Alumni Centre between 9am and 5pm.

Doctoral Students

If you plan to purchase specially made regalia you need to allow 7-8 weeks for ordering - the last day for the Fall will be October 31, 2009.  Contact the Supply Department at the Bookie (509) 332-2537 or 800-937-4978 ext. 193.

Faculty

New on-line process for ordering your rental regalia through the Bookie, go  to http://college.jostens.com/jostens/index.jsp  and choose the regalia that you wish to rent.  After you have rented your regalia online, please contact Nick Larsen at the Bookie (509-332-2537 ext 193) for payment.  The deadline to order on-line  is October 31st, after this date you will have to come into the store and will be assessed a $20 late fee.  Regalia rented online will be in the store and ready for pickup Monday December 7th through Saturday the 12th.
